Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Interior Designer

Collaborate with an interior design firm to create tailored design solutions for clients.
Conduct research on concepts and materials to assist the design team in resolving technical issues affecting concept development.
Perform on-site observations and offer recommendations to optimize ongoing design projects.
Prepare for and actively participate in client presentations.

Select furniture, materials, decor, and finishes while considering the client’s budget and approved design specifications.
Design samples based on client requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
Work on design projects ranging from commercial to residential sites within a collaborative team including Engineers, Architects, and Design Assistants alongside an Interior Designer.
