Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Interior Designer
- Collaborate with an interior design firm to create tailored design solutions for clients.
- Conduct research on concepts and materials to assist the design team in resolving technical issues affecting concept development.
- Perform on-site observations and offer recommendations to optimize ongoing design projects.
- Prepare for and actively participate in client presentations.
- Select furniture, materials, decor, and finishes while considering the client’s budget and approved design specifications.
- Design samples based on client requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
- Work on design projects ranging from commercial to residential sites within a collaborative team including Engineers, Architects, and Design Assistants alongside an Interior Designer.
