Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Interior Designer

  • Selecting appropriate furniture, materials, decor, and finishes as per project requirements.
  • Considering the customer’s budget and adhering to approved designs.
  • Developing samples based on client specifications and obtaining approvals for both business and residential design projects.
  • Working collaboratively with a team comprising engineers, architects, and design assistants alongside the interior designer.
  • Collaborating with an interior design studio to provide client-specific design solutions.
  • Assisting the design team by researching ideas and materials to address technical challenges affecting concept development.
  • Conducting on-site observations and offering suggestions to streamline existing design tasks.
